We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Senior FPGA Designer to join our RF Systems Engineering team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in advancing state-of-the-art software-defined radio (SDR) technologies within a collaborative, innovation-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, testing, and integration of complex FPGA designs using VHDL or Verilog.
• Drive system-level and hardware architecture discussions, contributing to design decisions and trade-off evaluations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and explore design alternatives using development platforms and prototyping tools.
• Develop and validate DSP algorithms using MATLAB or Python for FPGA and DSP implementation.
• Design and verify SDR systems with high-speed interfaces and protocols, including JESD204B/C, 10G/100G Ethernet, FFT, DDC/DUC, and digital filtering.
• Optimize FPGA designs for timing, area, and performance using industry-standard toolchains.
• Support hardware bring-up, system integration, and debugging in a hands-on lab environment.
• Use RF lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers) for system characterization.
• Create automated test frameworks to ensure the robustness and reliability of SDR systems.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience in FPGA/RTL design and verification.
• Deep expertise in VHDL/Verilog, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient with FPGA toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, and ModelSim.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments, with scripting skills in Bash, TCL, and Python.
