Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team on a 6month contract basis, with the potential for a permanent position. This role involves working on cutting edge AI projects to optimise and deploy scalable solutions for demanding applications. As an AI Engineer, you will collaborate with a talented team to deliver innovative products powered by advanced machine learning models and AI infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications for real-world use cases.
• Fine tune and optimise AI models, including large language models (LLMs), for inference and training.
• Implement serverless GPU inference and scalable training solutions on cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify AI requirements and deliver solutions tailored to business needs.
• Ensure AI systems are efficient, cost effective, and scalable.
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI and machine learning, applying cutting edge techniques to projects.

Required skills and experience

• Proven experience in AI/ML engineering, including deploying machine learning models in production.
• Expertise in working with GPUs for model training and inference, including familiarity with NVIDIA/AMD technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Hands on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience optimising infrastructure for AI workloads, including cost efficiency and performance.
• Knowledge of serverless computing and AI specific deployment methodologies.
• Familiarity with sustainable and energy efficient computing solutions is a plus
