Senior Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager, covering the Middle East. a global firm well recognised in the Defence sector providing leading technology solutions. Working as a single contributor, with a well-established install base and local technical team. Your role is to drive revenue growth with end clients and other major Defence Companies. 


The role requires someone with a well-established regional network, in particular the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This role will suit somebody who previously served in the Military, ideally with a background in Communications and Command & Control systems

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business unit goals
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with company strategy
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Interact with customers through sales meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Keep senior management informed through regular reporting
  • Participate in product development by providing customer insights
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and inspire external communication
  • Utilize operational military experience to drive business growth

 

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 10 years experience in sales and marketing in Defence IT
  • Proven sales skills in IT solutions
  • Strong connections with the Armed Forces in the region
  • Business consultancy skills to challenge customer needs
  • Excellent practical and theoretical approach to work
  • Fluency in Arabic and English desirable
