We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager, covering the Middle East. a global firm well recognised in the Defence sector providing leading technology solutions. Working as a single contributor, with a well-established install base and local technical team. Your role is to drive revenue growth with end clients and other major Defence Companies.
The role requires someone with a well-established regional network, in particular the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This role will suit somebody who previously served in the Military, ideally with a background in Communications and Command & Control systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business unit goals
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with company strategy
- Maintain deep product knowledge and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Interact with customers through sales meetings, presentations, and negotiations
- Keep senior management informed through regular reporting
- Participate in product development by providing customer insights
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and inspire external communication
- Utilize operational military experience to drive business growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- 10 years experience in sales and marketing in Defence IT
- Proven sales skills in IT solutions
- Strong connections with the Armed Forces in the region
- Business consultancy skills to challenge customer needs
- Excellent practical and theoretical approach to work
- Fluency in Arabic and English desirable
