Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of secure, interoperable communications networks.
• Define COMSEC policies, crypto key management processes, and certification frameworks.
• Oversee architecture design, interface control, and rigorous integration testing.
• Collaborate with end-users, integrators, and defence partners to align systems with operational objectives.
• Contribute to programme governance, acquisition strategy, and capability assurance.

Job requirements

• 15–20 years’ experience in secure communications, system integration, or interoperability engineering.
• Proven expertise in COMSEC / TRANSEC, encryption standards, and allied interoperability frameworks.
• Strong background in managing complex defence or government communications programmes.
• Track record of working with global defence primes or secure systems integrators.
• Overseas experience highly desirable.
