We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development and industrialisation of complex aerospace programs. The role will focus on either complete UAS platform development or autonomous mission system development and integration within manned or unmanned air vehicles.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical depth, systems engineering understanding, and full ownership of cost, schedule, and delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex aerospace programs across development, integration, qualification, and transition to production
- Lead autonomous system development and integration, including mission autonomy, avionics, and system interfaces
- Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and external suppliers
- Drive systems engineering activities, including requirements definition, interface management, and verification & validation
- Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness, safety, and regulatory frameworks
- Manage program finances, including budget tracking, PO approval, cost reporting, and financial status presentations
- Approve timesheets and oversee internal resource utilisation
- Act as the primary technical and programmatic interface with internal stakeholders and partners
Required background
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Systems Engineer / Technical Lead on complex aerospace or defence programs
- Strong systems engineering background
- Experience delivering:
- Complete aircraft / UAS platforms or Autonomous or avionics mission systems integrated into manned or unmanned air vehicles
- Experience managing suppliers, schedules, and program budgets
- Comfortable operating in a highly technical, regulated environment
