We are hiring a Healthcare Systems Functional Consultant to join a growing digital health delivery team supporting large-scale clinical system programmes.

Overview

An opportunity has opened for an experienced Functional Consultant to support the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing enhancement of a leading electronic health record (EHR) platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of clinical workflows and technology, contributing to both project-based implementations and long-term support engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end system delivery across implementation, optimisation, and managed services engagements
• Analyse clinical and operational workflows to identify improvement opportunities and system configuration requirements
• Configure and tailor EHR modules to align with business and clinical needs
• Collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders to ensure effective solution design and delivery
• Contribute to testing phases including system validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment readiness
• Produce and maintain clear documentation including build specifications, test cases, and configuration records
• Provide post-deployment support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay up to date with platform enhancements, industry trends, and best practice approaches

Requirements

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related discipline
• Proven experience working with hospital-based EHR systems, with exposure to clinical modules such as perioperative, emergency, or women’s health workflows
• Strong understanding of healthcare environments and clinical system usage
• Experience working within structured implementation or consulting frameworks
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
• Comfortable working across distributed teams and multi-site environments
