Network Integration Test Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Network Integration Test Engineer to lead system-level and integration testing across complex, multi-component environments. This is a role for someone who's happiest working below the surface: reading API responses, tracing packets, and figuring out exactly where and why something broke.

This isn't a development role. It's built for a tester who thrives on validation, troubleshooting, and configuration — someone who enjoys the detective work of root-cause analysis across interconnected platforms.

What you'll be doing

Leading system-level and integration testing across multiple subsystems and environments. Building and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and procedures tied to system requirements. Validating end-to-end workflows and system-to-system interactions, not just front-end functionality. Diagnosing issues using logs, API responses, and diagnostic tools like Postman, cURL, Wireshark, and tcpdump. Supporting configuration through UIs and config files to enable and validate integrations. Identifying likely root causes and escalating to the right teams. Partnering closely with engineering to drive defects to resolution. Supporting customer demos, validation, and acceptance testing. Keeping test documentation, defect reports, and requirement traceability sharp and accurate.

What you'll bring

Proven experience in system-level or integration testing in complex, multi-platform environments — a network, telecoms, defence, or enterprise IT background is a strong plus. Confidence working below the UI layer, with logs, packet captures, and API traces as your natural habitat. Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, cURL, Wireshark, or tcpdump. Solid grounding in networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, and protocols. A methodical, detail-driven approach to test planning and defect tracking. Strong communication skills, comfortable working with engineering teams and customers alike. A test-and-validate mindset, not a build-and-develop one.
