Digital Health Solutions Business Analyst

Greece

A leading healthcare provider in Greece is looking for a digitally fluent analyst to help shape the next generation of its clinical and operational platforms. This position sits at the intersection of care delivery, hospital operations and health IT, ensuring that technology investments translate into safer, smoother patient journeys and more efficient workflows.

You will partner with clinicians, nurses, administrators and technical teams to capture needs, design future-state processes, and guide system rollouts from discovery through to steady-state support.

The role

Discovery & requirements

  • Run workshops, interviews and shadowing sessions with front-line clinical and non-clinical staff to understand current ways of working.
  • Map end-to-end patient and administrative journeys, highlighting pain points, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Convert insights into clear, testable requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Process & solution design

  • Co-design future-state workflows that align with the capabilities of the organisation’s core hospital/EMR platform.
  • Produce structured artefacts such as requirement specifications, process models (BPMN/UML-style), use cases and standard operating procedures.
  • Work alongside configuration and build teams to ensure solutions reflect agreed business needs.

Stakeholder engagement & change

  • Act as the primary bridge between business users and technology squads, keeping all parties aligned on scope, priorities and timelines.
  • Facilitate decision-making forums, manage expectations and communicate progress in plain language.
  • Support change management activities to drive adoption and minimise disruption during transitions.

Testing, validation & go-live

  • Plan and lead User Acceptance Testing: define test scenarios, coordinate end-users, log defects and track resolution.
  • Validate configurations, data migrations and interface behaviours against business rules.
  • Contribute to go-live readiness activities, including cutover planning, hypercare support and issue triage.

Training & enablement

  • Create role-based training materials, quick-reference guides and e-learning content.
  • Deliver hands-on training sessions for clinical and operational teams.
  • Gather feedback post-training to refine materials and address knowledge gaps.

Post-implementation & L2 functional support

  • Provide Level 2 functional support for the hospital/EMR ecosystem, troubleshooting incidents and service requests.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and propose sustainable fixes or enhancements.
  • Manage change requests, minor enhancements and release coordination in line with SLAs.
  • Liaise with L3 technical teams for complex integrations, performance tuning or platform-level defects.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (healthcare, health informatics, IT, business, or similar).
  • 4–7 years of experience as a business analyst or similar role within healthcare IT, ideally supporting hospital information systems or EMR platforms.
  • Solid grasp of clinical and operational workflows: patient registration, order entry, clinical documentation, billing/revenue cycle, and virtual care.
  • Hands-on experience with requirement elicitation, process mapping, UAT planning/execution and functional documentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to translate complex needs into actionable specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging clinicians, executives and technical teams.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7).
  • Exposure to multi-site or cross-border health IT programmes.
  • Experience supporting system implementations from blueprint through to steady-state operations.

Language & location

  • Greek language proficiency is essential for daily collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • This is a full-time, permanent role based in Greece, with occasional travel for workshops, implementation milestones and go-live support.

Why apply?

  • Work at the heart of a major digital health transformation.
  • Direct impact on patient safety, care quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative environment with exposure to senior clinical and technology leadership.
